Gilberto's space

This is our Cast Member picture that we took during our training process at Disneyland.

The cast members that joined at  the same time as me are wonderful people. We have Judy,

Michelle, and Angela. We all work at the same store - The Emporium on Main Street of

Disneyland. We just had our Halloween theme at Disneyland, and pretty soon

the Holidays are coming up. Pretty soon there will be lights, decorations and most of all

Winter Wonderland Snow on Main Street! Can't wait! (Will be my first time seeing this!)

It is September 22, 2008.

This is it, the first week of our Autumn season; almost to the end of September and looking forward to October – Month of Fall, Pumpkins, and Halloween. UCI will start the Fall Quarter this week and I am looking forward to my new classes. English Classes filled with Literature, Rhetoric, and Writing. I know it will be a busy year and I will be reading and writing a lot! I enjoy both, so I hope all these classes I take will help me in the long run to continue in the credential program after taking ONE more CSET. (I don’t know the status of my last 2 test, just keep our fingers crossed!)

Fall also means leather and helmets. My 49ers are doing alright, there are surprising getting their offense running with Mike Martz. Baseball playoffs are coming soon and the Dodgers are of course in! Manny Ramirez has blasted the Dodgers into 1st place and sure enough into contention. My Fantasy Football team is doing well.

The summer break was great, for I read all the Twilight Series. The books were great, and I enjoy the conclusive series of Breaking Dawn. If you like Vampires and a good story line, then this book is for you. I am trying to get into the Halloween mood by continuing my reading of Vampire, monsters and all that. So I picked up Anne Rice’s Memnoch The Devil. Ohhh It will be a great read I bet. Scary! Nah, I think I’ll be alright. :-)

Still waiting on Disneyland to call me back for I got the job – just one hold up: background check. I’ll be waiting to start at Disneyland soon. I can’t wait to work and make some money to help out with living expenses and save up for holidays. I think it’ll be a fun place to work – only if I can start soon enough! I think it will be a FUN job! I will be waiting to hear from Disney soon…

My story of Fall will continue further on, keep an eye out for more to come. This is merely an introduction to Gilbert’s Space. Welcome, and Fall welcome as well and let us enjoy the ever-changing colors of the leaves and as they fall we watch as time goes on to the end of the year.

News and Updates: School will be starting at UCI soon. I am taking all English courses - Rhetoric, composition, and literature classes. Should be a fun year! I just took the English Subtets II and III last week and I am awaiting results. While I wait I will be studying for the English Subtest IV -- the last one! I hope I pass them all so I can move on in the Credential Program at UCI.

Disneyland is still on -- waiting on the company to call me back for Traditions and Merchandise. These will be my first days on the job. I can't wait! Will be fun to work at the most fun and happiest place on Earth. Halloween is coming soon in October -- should be a frightening experience as Disneyland redecorates for the holidays!
